Getting excited
My moods have been fluctuating lately. In a day, I can go from being energetic and somewhat optimistic, to feeling really down and missing Lisa like crazy. And I get insomnia. I couldn't get to sleep on Friday night so ended up watching the royal wedding in real time. Tonight I seem to be doing the same thing. I know I do this before leaving on vacation.
I am so looking forward seeing the twins and Cevyn. And then Prague and travel around Northern Europe. I look forward to revisiting our favourite places in Prague. I know it won't be the same but I do want to see the beauty of that city one more time.
Lisa: I miss you always and love you forever. Mummy

I understand the excitement, and the sadness. It does sound like a lovely vacation, and so special always when you can spend time with Cevyn and the girls. OH to be able to travel as you and Joe do!!! I think I'd love it!!! I wish you safe travels, good weather, fabulous sights, and wonderful memories relived and made anew!

Hi Marlene, I'm sorry you are continuing to experience insomnia. I have never been a "good" sleeper & since Ed's passing I have nights that I struggle but it's not a consistent problem. For me, now that I'm retired I just read or watch TV when I can't sleep. I don't fight it as much anymore. I'm tired the next day but can still manage fine when babysitting the grandies or volunteering. Thankfully, neither of those activities are as demanding as my former job. But I do wish you could enjoy healthy, restorative sleep. It's such a gift.
Have a wonderful time with your beautiful granddaughter and her babies. Safe travels for you and Joe there and in Europe!
Love to you and dearest Lisa, Linda ♡
Such is the movement through life I believe for many of us. My sleep patterns are certainly not what they used to be either so a good night's rest is such a gift.
I'm excited for you with your upcoming travels and may they be everything and more for your healing heart and well-being.
I'm sure those hugging arms are ready! Such a JOY for you to be with your wonderful family.
Big (((hugs))) to you dearest Marlene, and always remembering your Lisa. I have no doubt she's already "packed" and ready to roll.
XO Joanie
