Getting close to the weekend

One minute / one hour / one day at a time .....   I'm praying that I'll have the strength and determination to not go into the casino and gamble on Sunday.  I'm going to be doing some major talking to myself, but I really must give this my all.  It's almost two weeks since I've gambled and I'm feeling good about myself, I want to build on this feeling and learn that I cannot keep feeding the addiction.

Stay strong and dont take your bank card, dont drink alchohol and dont go with a compulsive gambler. Heck, dont even go if you think there is a chance you will go in the casino. I myself couldnt handle it... I would feed myself so much BS that I would be believing that I could walk in that casino with $40 bucks and walk out with $400. Notta --- never gonna happen. I might have $400 at one point, but I would never be able to leave with it. I must give it all back... go figure! I\'ll be praying for both of us!

Thanks, Sheila ....... It\'s Friday night, so far so good. I\'m praying for both of us too. STAY STRONG. I\'m thinking of you and it really is helping me stay strong, and hopefully it\'s doing the same for you. We deserve so much more, let\'s don\'t beat ourselves up after a night at the casino .. let\'s stay away!!
Hugs and sending you positive vibes.

I\'m sorry I let you down, I was gambling when you wrote this. And yes... It was a horrible ride home. Why can\'t I remember these feelings of guilt, self-hatred and remorse BEFORE I go into the casino. One of these days it will sink in.... and I think that day is very close. Stay strong and stay away.
