Done with my 2nd chemo treatment, 10 to go. My body is not handeling the chemo very well so I gotta' keep up the hope and faith that I'll get through it.
I think we\'re on the same chemo days! I had chemo Wednesday and was disconnected from my fanny pack/ pump on Friday at noon. I\'m 2 treatments ahead of you. I\'ll pray for you!

Hi Becky, I don\'t think my chemo cocktail is the same as yours. On Wednesday I get 7-8 hours of Oxaliplatin (eloxatin) and Leucovorin and an injection of 5-Fu and a wear home pump of 5-Fu for 22 hours. Then I go in again on Thursday and get 3 hours of Leucovorin and the same injection and wear home pump of 5-Fu. Then on Friday when pump is done I go in to have it removed. So 3 days for me. I don\'t have a port in my chest. I have a picc line in my upper arm, which stays there the whole chemo journey. Prayers for us all. gg
Good Evening. I agree, our treatments are slightly different. Tomorrow, my treatment will be about 3 hours of Eloxatin, anti-nausea drugs and the calicum/magnesium drip and a push of 5-FU, then I take the 5-FU pump (who I\'ve named Otto) home. Wednesday\'s treatment is about 90 minutes, Leucovorin and Otto gets refilled and goes home with me for another night. Thursday is the disconnect. I do have the port, which I\'m not thrilled with, but it works. Sending prayers your way.
Hey Becky, Well they are similar enough. And they aren\'t any fun. Can\'t wait for this to all be over with. Just finished my 3rd treatment, 9 to go. We just gotta hang in there. How are your side effects?? Mine are better this time cause my Dr lowered my dosage a little. Today is monday and I feel a little better, just some nausea and fatigue, hope it goes away soon. Take care, prayers to you. gg

I believe that I am also on the same chemo days. My 5th treatment (of 12) is Tuesday, May 5th with a disconnect on Thursday. Prayers to both of you.
