Getting clarity

I'm excited I get to go into the city tomorrow.  A very old friend is also going to see this band play.  It ought to be good fun and something to do sober in a nonsober environment so I need to take care to up my spiritual connection and meetings and to check my motives for going.  I am absolutely thrilled.  I'd like to get a haircut and do nails and take care choosing an outfit I am comfortable in, instead of just going all harry carry and not being attentive to this aspect of myself I've neglected in this 'caretaking' role with T and his son.
I am dealing with a crush besides T and well it was before this situation started so it's ok, I don't have to act on it.  The guy asked me to coffee and then said if we go or not we're just friends, and he was too busy.  His tone changed from interested to not and it hurt.  Now he's been sharing about how he wants a wife and kids and it's ok to think about this stuff, to have wondered how fate is.  I have T's son in there with me and I am like his little step mommie practically.  It is kind of neat.  And yes, I'd like children, too, but what have I done about it?  So it's kind of weird - I'm "off the market" and T and I haven't really talked about it - he's so newly broken up.  She is the exgf and he referred me as his gf more than once, but only to aquaintances.  So I don't know!  I like being single and available, this is my love addiction open to anyone I want, being committed, if that's what it is, that is more of a challenge I suppose.  So yeah I still have this crush on this OTHER T - and they happen to be close, which is odd. I mean I have had crushes on this OTHER T's friends, this is the 2nd that I know of.  How odd is that? Birds of a feather flock together.
Then Sat night is another live band, two in fact, of dear old friends, old using friends who I am in touch with but don't know I'm sober.  I'm excited to go sober, but I'm not thrilled about the bar where it is - this would be a good place to bring a sober friend, but who?  Hopefully one will show up.  I'll be FINE.  As long as I put into place my tools, my higher power as my spiritual defense.

You will be okay at the concert at the bar-you are strong and I believe you are very committed to being sober and staying sober. I admire you-you seem very centered and you have a very strong faith in God. God bless:0)
