Gettin' Sneaky
Kit is showing his sneaky side. He has a problem going to and coming back from the back yard. He dodges the loop of the choke chain which isn't too bad inside, but very frustrating on the outside since I have to lean over the gate to get to him. As part of the training. I give him a treat if he makes it a little easier. It might be a cube, or a strip, or a Pupperoni. He doesn't always get one although he thinks he should. So now, he makes unneeded trips. He might run around the yard,,not do anything and run back to the gate and make it easier to get him on the loop,,,,OR he might heist his leg one time and run back. Since he has made the trip easier, I feel obligated to give him a treat. He's a sneaky little rascal! We still have some things to work on. Licking is a big problem. Begging for human food has started. And burying milk bones is still around. I have to make a change myself. I've got to exercise my stomach muscles. He's getting a habit to leaping onto my stomach without warning when he's playing and it doesn't really feel good when he catches me by surprise. But, all the little problems are made up for when he falls asleep in my lap.

Yes, they make up for the little habits with great sessions of loving their owner. I think this is a great journal. Sounds like Kit is very cleaver. Hugs to you and Kit

I hope everything is going well for you and Kit. I was giving Daisy a \"greenie\" every night, but the Vet says no to those right now, so we are both going through a learning curve. LOL
