General Update Me , Husband and Sister

Morning , I am sitting at my computer with my coffee , Ellsworth kitty is by me and the curtains are open to the sun filled back yard . I already journaled my Husband's first scan in April was clear , My Sister had her surgery for the uterine cancer and has just three internal radiation scheduled to complete her treatment and a success rate of 97% .I have been retired from Safeway since May 1st taking to my new life like a duck in water. I think retiring has everthing to do with Dennis's happiness . He tell's others he felt like he retired as well.We are now those people who run around happy saying things like " I married my best friend " ..You know Dennis and I meet at the beginning of my 20 years as a store manager so money was nice but not much time for us .Since My last day of work we have been on 8 hikes , are attending a Healthy choices Providence class taught by a master in nutrition , the house is getting organized and we are both so much more relaxed. We just don't really know with RCC do we , despite the prognosis I want to ensure Dennis and I have the Life we want now ...this is my new job now and I love it . My Sister Monica is 7 weeks post op for her uterine cancer , again who really knows why some one gets cancer but the Dr's implied her cancer was an estrogen dominant encouraged by obesity and menopause. Whats interesting about this is I found my neighbor accross the street had the very same diagnosis and surgery late last year. I think some Women in Menopause who aren't sexually active are not as diligent about pap's and could miss the signs .
As far as my retirement , putting Safeway in the rear view mirror has been a blessing in more ways than one .The future is open on me working as well , but for now I am enjoying my first summer off since I was 14 ahhhhh
I want you to know all of you have been of great support on my issues , my leaving safeway , Dennis RCC and My sisters Cancer. Thank-you for assisting at the helm.
I pray daily for loved one's suffering and the amazing women who fight the good fight daily . My love and prayers for any one who suffer's when faced with Cancer in our lives.
Independence day - July 4th -We are blessed to live in such a great nation and have access to medical science that some day will cure cancer.
