general update//accident up north internet is down - i'm down south right now
there was an accident and our internet and phone service is down up north. i'm at a computer down south, at the library. ds already threw me off once on here, no reason. grrrrr.
i'm dragging right now. had a meeting with the guy who wants me to sell mobiles for him. you DO NEED a dealer's license or sell under a real estate place that brokers mobiles. he seems to have re-thought mr's situtation and says if i e mail him he'll show her deal to his partners and let them decide from there. right now, there is no deal anyway. if he makes it too complicated everyone will walk. the trick with sales is always keeping terms simple.
i also let him know that on the beach the rents are LOWERED not higher, places that were 700 and 900 are going for 500 and 600. has has to be aware of that because he keeps RAISING their lot rents and taking away extras. very odd. mr didn't show up at all, don't know why he is trying to make her show up anyway. i called her from the mom and pop place and let her know what was going on.
at the mom and pop, i almost got ripped off by a waitress YESTERDAY, she kept five dollars of my change. then apologised. then says to the man sitting next to me, well, you two were sharing fries anyway. and he says to her, yeah, and i paid for my fries and fries only cost $1.50 not $5.00. i was really shocked. then the male server who screws up about HALF THE TIME was there today, and forgot to put in my order for a pizza. i finish my breakfast and i'm like where is my pizza to go? he apologised for forgetting, but he does this about 50% of the time. the prices are super cheap and good quality food, but they only have ONE good server. its really annoying. their home fries are the best, even their hashbrowns are good. haven't found anything else that's great there yet though.
found a dollar at the marina yesterday. that was weird, surprised it didn't blow away. it was sticking up from the dock. lol.
stopped by sh's assisted living to drop off bread and went to the hope store. still have stops to make by rn's and k's. i'm sniffling again, so i hope i get there soon. mike was serving chocolate pie by edwards. fabulous! he looks exhausted as always. totally loaded with animals - more horses! more llamas! and built an outdoor thing for the tortoise with heater. its a HUGE tortoise. also let their squirrels out and they were hanging by the tree. so cute!
picked up animal supplies and mark was helpful again, but i have a feeling their friday wasn't that great - real quiet in there. i think they do good year round business anyway. i wouldn't mind putting out my own catalog complete with living room furniture with a removeable scratching post under each armrest. lol., as well as animal medicine and cheap, high quality cat food and instruction manual on rescue.
noticed something else this year, i run out of steam and need to nap. i can nap in my car driver's seat, no sweat at all. p's house is near sh's assisted living and i thought to myself. its right there, but i KNOW i don't have the energy.

Home fries I haven\'t had those in such a long time.Here just on the news a few days ago our local news buster a local waitress who was adding more than the allotted money for a tip from patrons who used credit cards to pay for the meal. I just can\'t believe people do this,short change people. Glad you caught it and called the server on it. Don\'t know anything about selling mobiles,but I think your busy enough..hope your internet is back up. DS has been rough lately for me too. Found a dollar..cool!! I only find pennies.

Oh, I so hate it when the waiter/waitress say\'s do you need change? Hello!!! Of course I need change......I will be the one deciding what tip to give you - and don\'t even think about coming back with only a twenty when your tip should be ten.
Maybe you should look into putting out your own catalog..........you certainly know what you are talking about.
I wish you could get a better nap than napping in the car!
I don\'t know what it is like in FL but in TX there is so much confusion and difficulty with selling Mobiles.

That Mom and Pop place sounds like they have some great eating fare. Service can be a problem most anywhere these days. People need to not tip much and maybe everyone\'s attitude will change.
Are you taking Vitamins etc since your on the run so much you should take them. Enjoy those catnaps, I do too.
Mom and pop place sounds like good eating, but the staff needs some, um...reworking? Jeepers, stealing your money isn\'t very good PR! Ya know??? I know it\'s good to go where the good food is (sounds yummy!), but for Pete\'s sake, they need to be honest, and give you your full order! Off day, it sounds like!!

Sorry about the internet problems. Can relate to that as we are still having problems with our service up here after the hurricane. Things are mostlly restored in Jersey as far as the trains and stuff, but the boardwalks are just plain missing and it\'s gonna take a long time to recover. So sad. Too bad you had to end up at a library computer, just to have trouble with DS. They\'ve been really bad lately. UGH!!

yeah, some of the animal groups went to nj to help out and were TURNED AWAY! lol. they had trucks with them with supplies and were offering to bring back animals that were left behind. nj had banded together, had more than enough supplies and didn\'t need the help. the woman is laughing when she told me this because she went to unversity in nj and it was her first choice.
so the groups drove over the verazano bridge headed for staten island instead. she said everyone had FORGOTTEN staten island. they were DESPARATE FOR supplies and help with the animals. she said in the north carolina they also were desparate for help.
nj is something else. i heard glen rock, nj did all kinds of things to help out and i know my cousins who live in the shore area were doing thanksgiving at one of those, hey the food is here, come here, even their teenage sons were helping out (she didn\'t expect this!) a lot of them were saying it was the best thing they ever did.
have since learned that the woman, whose name is RONI, short cropped blonde hair, about sixty i think, has a REPUTATION for stealing. she is very smooth talking and all smiles, so if you don\'t know, you may believe its an accident and its not. to get back at her, many people pay her in pocket change if she is the one who is there, like go to the bank on the corner and get a roll of quarters to count out the change. have no idea if she has put 2 and 2 together but she mentions how many pay her in change quite often. the guy who \"forgets\" orders (they really need to get different servers) grumbles sometimes that roni steals. so they KNOW, so why keep her there? perhaps the police need to bust her for ANYTHING, to get things back in order. its a shame because the place has good food.
sh wants to open a petting zoo after the assisted living thing is over. new development. i think they feel they have done their part dealing with \"people\" people are the most difficult of the animal world. lol.
yeah, i\'m a big vitamin person. good thing people don\'t mind me falling asleep. its just not worth it to drive home or even to the beach, just for sleep, and i don\'t think my body knows the difference.
yeah, carly, it sounds the same here. he\'s offering me all this work and i\'m saying to myself, if it was that simple i\'d have heard of this. i think he hoped i\'d work for cash and no contract. no thanks. now i think he\'s afraid i\'m a spy. i\'m not actually. but i wouldn\'t trust a sales job of any sort even part time, without a contract.
now i also hear they are begging all the court reporters to return and learn real time FOR FREE because the law went through that EVERYTHING has to have close caption and they are desparate for reporters. my entire life i have heard they are desparate for reporters. i haven\'t done that kind of work since 1990 at the latest. wonder what they are paying. it was a $20 per hour job in the 80\'s. so odd everyone running about looking for work because the economy is so screwy.
