General stuff

Well..the holidays are upon us.  I have my holiday party tonight at work so looking forward to that.  One more week until Xmas and then another week after that for New Year's.  Xmas will be great this year...everyone will be home and I'm looking forward to that time.....New Year's will not be so great.  It was a time of celebration with his family.  We always went to this dinner/dance every year.  And this year...I won't be there.  Possibly someone else will be in my place.  My choice.....no regrets.  I'm torn emotionally of where I should be on that day.  With friends; by myself....not sure what that is going to look like.  I'm tired of worrying about it...So as I look back on 2008...it certainly had its ups and downs but I pray each day that 2009 will be better!  It's my Fabulous 50 year....what more could you ask for????
