General Goal Update

Thought it is time to just write a general update.
I am now 77% to reaching the 9 month gamble free goal.  Time has gone pretty quickly and I rarely have urges to gamble.  To be honest, the urges only seem to pop into my mind when paying my debst because the mind plays tricks and tells you that you haven't gambled for quite sometime so it is to go and gamble, win a decent amount and then pay a good slab of the debt - wouldn't be good if that was actually the case but we all know it is NOT!
I am following through on a number of things I set-out for myself to help me through the recovery so that's all going to plan so far.....still have a long way to go.
When you achieve a goal it makes you stronger so the more baby goals you achieve (small baby goals become big goals in the end) the stronger you will become.  You will also learn to value and receive what you have acheived which in turn means you are starting to live again + many other things that help balance your life.
Well, that's enought from me and I will try and jump on-line more.

Hi Bear and you know I am proud of you and you do get it. Yes, we are just one bet away from falling into that hell all over again and we know it. Also I know I won\'t win and if I did, they would end up getting it back. So my friend, keep on paying your debt and living life to the fullest. lots of hugs, Barb
