GEESE visited our front yard today! :) Incredible Nature Experience! :)
WELCOME GEESE!!! THANK YOU FOR VISITING!!! :) OH MY!!! OMG!!! WE HAD AN AMAZING AND WILD! WILD! WILD!!!! NATURE EXPERIENCE TODAY!!! :) about 30 GEESE VISITED OUR FRONT YARD!!!! :) this was INCREDIBLE!!! :)this is 1st time EVER!, that this has happened!!! :) we all went outside to greet the geese, they came all the way over to our FRONT STEPS!!! :) hehehehehe! :) this was absolutely beautiful!!! :) we fed them lots of breads, and potato chips! : )The geese were going WILD!!! :) they were so happy! :) this happened shortly after 12:30pm today! :) i took lots and lots and LOTS!!! of sweet nature pictures, of this amazing nature experience my family and i had today! :) i am so very tickled happy, excited, and thrilled to share with everyone about this! : )This is SUPER COOL!!! : )1st time ever, Very special GEESE visitors to our front yard!!! :) there had to be at least 30 geese! :) They were so happy we fed them lots of goodies! :) AMAZING NATURE DAY!!! :)
WOW! WOW! WOW!!! :) is the word of the day here at our home! :) NATURE WOW!!! :) we had one of the most incredible, and beautiful nature experiences today in our very own yard! :) we couldn't believe our eyes, when we looked outside, and saw ALL OF THESE GEESE!!! in our neighborhood! :) oh my! :) the geese usually fly over, and soar over our neighborhood, but never have actually landed around here before, and today, we had a front yard FULL OF HAPPY GEESE!!! :) they certainly came to the right home! hehe! :) we brought out a whole loaf of bread, and a bag of potato chips! :) This was SUPER MEGA SWEET AWESOME!!! :)
just after 12:30pm today, my mom, dad, and niece Alyssa were coming home from shopping :) i was here in my computer room ,and also keeping an eye babysitting Kayla and Taylynn who were in the living room :) i heard our minivan coming, i looked out my computer room window, across the street, i saw a few geese in our neighbor's yard, then, more geese were following, they were walking right in the road, GEESE after GEESE!!! :) it was a whole flock of geese! :) i got my camera, i was out by our front door, and my mom said, "Chris, look at this!!! get some bread!" we got some bread, we threw some bread out by the end of our yard, and all of a sudden, our yard was SWARMED!!! like never before! there were geese, all around our yard! we were amazed, mesmerized, and SUPER EXCITED!!! :) we couldn't believe it!!! :) my dad got some more breads, and a bag of potato chips :)
Kayla and Taylynn were so excited, they got their coats on and went outside, my niece Alyssa was with us too :) we were surrounded by GEESE!!! :) they were eating the breads, and potato chips :) earlier, my mom and dad, and Alyssa had gone out to get some groceries, so the geese certainly came to the lucky house! hehe! :) we were watching the geese, they are HUGE!!! :) WOW! :) Alyssa pet one of the geese :) We were having such an amazing nature experience :) We see the geese from time to time, we see them soaring over sometimes, but never have the geese ever done this, where they came right over to our yard, and our yard, completely full of geese! : ) i made this short 10 second video as it was happening! :)

We were so excited, while this was going on, we were really amazed, because the geese usually don't stay around our yard for too long, but this has been one of the wildest winters we've ever had, and we believe the geese were hungry, and looking for foods, and we were so happy to feed them a loaf of bread, and a nice bag of potato chips :) it was like they stopped by our house to have a nice lunch! : )hehe! : )this was awesome! :) while all of this was going on, i had my camera, and was taking tons and tons of pictures to share with everyone :) The geese stayed around our yard, for close to an hour! :) after 2pm, i could still see the geese around in front of our house :) This is really cool, the nature experience my family and i had today :) We love nature, and we love to share about the birds, and squirrels that visit our yard, and never in my wildest dreams, could i have imagined this incredible experience happening today :) i didn't count how many geese there were, but there had to be at least 30 of them, a whole flock of geese :) they are very happy, and enjoyed the goodies we put outside for them :) i mentioned to my mom and dad, that if the geese continue to come around, we'll have to stock up on some more loaves of bread! :) hehe! :)
This was a really neat nature experience today! :) WOW! :) plus, i enjoyed some nature walks in our yard, feeding all of the birds, and squirrels :) it's a very cold wintery day, but is nicely sunny outside, and the snow is glowing from all of the snowfall :) This was one of our coolest, and most memorable nature experiences we've ever had :) i am so very happy, and excited about sharing my new pictures with everyone :) It was awesome, welcoming the geese to our home today, for a special visit, and giving them lots and lots of goodies :) We will always love, and cherish this very special treasured nature memory we have now, from this very cool experience :) GEESE VISITING OUR YARD, February 17th, 2014 :) HAPPY NATURE SMILES!!! :)
We're enjoying an AMAZING NATURE DAY!!! :) sunny smiles! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits :) We're still on NATURE CLOUD 9, about the incredible experience we had today :) the geese visiting, plus seeing many more of our nature animal friends :) this day, is rocking and rolling! :) So many wonderful nature sights :) i am smiling and smiling! :) Today for lunch, i enjoyed some tomato vegetable soup, with baked potatoes, and a baked tortilla bowl with salsa :) lunch was delicious! :) i've been enjoying some time here on DS, writing to friends, i also put some episodes of the universe on :) Tonight, our dear friend Holly and i are going to watch the Slooh.com space camera and also on space.com :) there's a huge asteroid that is gonna be passing by earth, 8 lunar distances from earth. The slooth space camera is going to be showing live coverage of this amazing event with their telescope :) Holly and i want to check it out :) it's gonna be great! :)
Tomorrow is sweet treats tuesday!!! :) We're gonna go to mcdonalds tomorrow to get some treats :) i'm also looking forward to having a nice slice of pumpkin bread, that our dear friends Laurie (Laurie32), Ed, and their family sent us :) i'm going to write some cards tomorrow, and enjoying some more nature walks :) Each day is a beautiful gift, and blessing :) my family and i feel very thankful, and excited for the incredible opportunity we got today to experience the wonderful nature experience, right in our front yard :) absolutely beautiful :) Thank you all so very much, for sharing your days, and adventures with us, and for joining us on ours :) it's always lots of fun, and a very special joy :) Thank you for all that you do for my family and i :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of our hearts :) BIG GROUP SUNNY NATURE HUG :) Tonight, i'm gonna check out the slooh space camera, and also gonna get a good night's rest :) There's many more amazing days and times to look forward too :)

Dear Chris... The geeze are WILD!!! Bet they\'re in route to their summer hangouts! So cool that you were able to get so many great pics!!! Reminds me of the flocks of turkey, mostly hens, crossing our front yard at springtime... They are really DUMB and when they get in front of the truck on the way down the drive, they stay right in FRONT like they want to be hit... LOL Sounds like a GREAT MONDAY for EVERYBODY in CT!!! And there you WERE always vigilant with your TRUSTY CAMERA!!! CCCCOOOOLLLLL!!!
We are expecting a big ole dump of snow so I ran to town today for groceries and Walmart as I NEVER did get back for my monthly supplies... Long day with lots of walking, but I impressed EVEN MYSELF with my stamina!!! Then I came home, made a nice dinner after putting everything away... I was happy to score some new leggings at Walmart as I\'m so comfortable in them especially when I\'m laying up against the cold. I haven;\'t tried them yet, but they are just glorified hosery... LOL... We had some nice chicken thighs (I remove the skin), salad, green beans with carrots, and salad for dinner... Once again, WINNER OF A SIMPLE MEAL! I\'ve gotten so good at several of those since I get to cook every single night...
Love to you and Mom and Dad and everybody in CT!!! Hope you all have a lovely evening... I am looking forward to STT tomorrow as well!!! You know I always go for that vanilla cappuccino EVERYTIME! MY FAV!!!

Hello Chris.......That is so Awesome to see all those Geese! in your front yard no less! I know they enjoyed the bread and potato chips you all put out for them! What a nice surprise that had to have been for all of you.
Bless you for feeding them. With all that snow I believe food is scarce for all the winged creatures. Your lunch sounded Good and just the ticket for a cold winters day.Have a good night watching watching for that asteroid.

I so enjoyed your pics. Once a year, we have an awesome event like this. Pelicans by the hundreds land on one of the lakes in Baton Rouge. It is so fun to see. I\'ll have to get you some pics this year. Nature is so unpredictable and beautiful.
