Gee, thanks.
After a transfer experience that can best be described as a ****show, everything is finally situated for fall semester. I have been a little anxious about on ground classes, but felt better that vaccination is required of all students and staff. I was anxious about being so old compared to my peers, but I've had two years of undergrad and working with my therapist to get right in my head about that.
Then...
At the dentist, he tells me that he used to make the same commute I will be making, but only one day a week and "it nearly killed [him]!"
Oh, good. Food for the anxiety monster. Thanks, bro.

After all you’ve been through, you can do this! It’s a bit of work, but there’s a bright shining light at the end of the tunnel. It’s temporary and you can see the finish line. You’ll be so busy that the whole experience will over in a flash. You got this (& a whole lotta cliches, too)!
Aww, you're right, lostmyself. When I think of the very worst moments of my life, a silly commute seems /easy/!
I also secretly wonder if I'll start liking the drive since it'll be time to listen to audiobooks that aren't for school - a luxury I rarely allow myself. (If I have time, I should be studying, right?)
Thank you so much for the supportive words!
Just wondering if your educational pursuits will lead you to a career in counseling? You seem to be pretty good at it!
Best wishes for a great semester!
