Gardening in the Sunshine :) Grow Sunflowers! :) Sweet Spirited Weekend! :)
Happy Gardening sunday! :) oh my! :) i went absolutely sweet gardening wild today! :) hehe! :) i love it! :) It's an awesome weekend! :) Celebrating American Pharoah's huge win at the Belmont Stakes! :) Triple Crown Champion!!! :) We enjoyed the thrilling race, and the amazing, triple crown racing season :) it was awesome! :) We're very happy for American Pharoah horse :) it was so incredible, when he was coming down the stretch, and won the race :) We were all shouting and cheering! :) i'll always save on, to my awesome t-shirt i got at the mohegan sun :) it's a cool triple crown champion souvenior, collectible :) i won the exacta bet on the belmont stakes! :) cool! :) We'll be going to the mohegan sun casino again soon to cash in the ticket :) Today, i blossomed into some awesome gardening :) i wore my garden mask, to protect my sinuses, and my mouth :) i did really well :) today, i planted, tomato plants, string beans, gourds seeds, transplanted sunflowers into the garden, and i also planted more cucumber seeds :) i put some nice organic soil around the stem bases of the plants :) our plants are very happy, healthy, and smiling at the sun :) i took lots and lots of new pictures today, to share with everyone :) it's beautiful weather, and the spirit of summer time is beginning to blossom :) i tended our plants :) it was awesome, getting in some sweet gardening time :) i'll be gardening throughout the upcoming week too :) woot! :) There's so much more, to look forward too :) It's a beautiful weekend! :)
Hi angel friends! :) sunny smiles, and a special greetings, from our garden, on this wonderful sunday :) There's lots of sunshine, birds singing, and it's the day after, the big, historic, and legendary victory, by the Triple Crown Champion, American Pharoah! :) The winner of the belmont stakes :) wow! wow! wow! :) We got a triple crown champion!!! :) Congratulations to American Pharoah :) We all gathered around our living room tv, in anticipation of the big race yesterday evening :) when the horses got into the starting gate, and "they're off!!!" it was so intense, exciting, and thrilling! :) American Pharoah lead the race, wire to wire :) We were all shouting, and cheering! :) it was history in the making! :) 1st time in 37 years, a triple crown champion! :) Go American Pharoah! :) we're very happy for American Pharoah :) what a thrilling triple crown season :) Kentucky derby, Preakness stakes, and Belmont stakes :) 3 in a row! :) it was great, and one of my all time favorite triple crown seasons :) i won the exacta bet on the belmont :) about $14 :) plus, i got my awesome American pharoah collectible t-shirt too to always treasure, plus the sweet memories from the triple crown season :) Lots of friends mentioned they watched the race too :) Thank you all for celebrating that fun season with us :) it was a triple crown season to remember! :)
We hope everyone is enjoying a great sunday! :) The June sun, is shining beautifully today :) We woke up to the sounds of birds singing, and lots of sunshine, as those golden beams of sunshine were flowing from the sky :) a beautiful sunrise :) i knew it was gonna be a great day, to enjoy some gardening :) i've been looking forward to blossoming into our yard, and gardens :) It's been a big week, but the plants, have flourished so nicely, and all of the rain we recieved earlier in the week, has made the plants super mega grow into the countdown to summer season :) it's absolutely amazing to see :) This morning, i put lots of nice breads all around our yard, for the birds and squirrels :) it was so nice, to hear the birds out and about early, and them all singing happily :)
Around mid-morning, i got my garden mask, some packets of garden seeds, and went out into our backyard, for some sunny sunday gardening :) i love it!!! :) i wore my garden mask, to protect my sinuses, and my mouth too, as my mouth/tooth area is still healing. :) i opened up our garden greenhouse, and began to prepare to transplant some sunflowers, and tomato plants into our garden :) There's just something so very nice, and magical, about blossoming into some sunny gardening :) You all are always right there with me in spirit :) in one of our gardens, i transplanted 6, tomato plants we've been growing from seed, in our garden greenhouse :) i wanted to give the plants some more soil, to grow amongst :) i also transplanted, 4, happy smiling mammoth sunflowers, into our garden too :) i've been sprinkling the sunflowers into the gardens, here and there, and they are shining and smiling at the sun :) it's one of my favorite joys, to see the sunflowers, these early stages of their incredible journey journey's, and them growing and growing so much :) Very soon, the sunflower sun race is on! :) i want to select 2 sunflowers, to participate in this season's, sunflower sun race :) a race to the sun! :) it's gonna be awesome fun m easuring the sunflowers each year :)
i was really into my gardening today :) i love it! :) i was looking at our string beans plants, they are doing so well :) near those string beans plants, in the open areas, i planted more Kentucky wonder pole string beans, and i also planted, a row, of bush string beans, next to our garden :) The corn plants are growing so nicely :) i remember when they first sprouted in our garden greenhouse, and are now flourishing so nicely :) i hope we get to make some more fresh homemade garden popcorn in september/october :) That would be super sweet! :) i was doing some gardening maintainence too :) i was pulling some weeds from the garden, and removing tree seeds that have been falling into the garden :) i was getting some great exercise :)
i walked over to our garden, that is on the side of our driveway :) in this garden, we have string beans, sunflowers, bell pepper plants, and we also have, some nice gourds pumpkins sprouts :) i planted those seeds right where the gourds grew last year :) We had over 12 gourds grow last year, it was so neat! :) i planted a few more gourds seeds in this garden too :) i also pulled some weeds in this garden :) We're gonna load this garden area up soon, with cherry tomato plants, more peppers, and cucumber plants :) it's gonna be so nice :) i gave the plants, a really nice watering today too :) The plants were ready for some nice water nourishment :) They are soaking up lots of sunshine today, and had sunshine friday too :) it's so nice, and one of my favorite joys, tending the plants :) i watered our plants, and our front yard gardens too, where we have lots of morning glory flowers sprouts, sunflowers, nasturium dwarf jewel flowers, and we also have, some nice sprouts in our planters, in our front tree :) We got sprouts all over our yard and gardens! :) hehe! :) it's super cool! :) i really enjoyed gardening today :) i put a good 90 minutes into our gardens :) it felt great :) i want to plant more sunflower seeds, this upcoming week :) This is just the beginning, of the gardening season, that is flourishing so nicely :) While gardening today, i took some sweet new gardening pictures to share with everyone, in my journal :)

Ah, lovely flowers :) I like that one which is dark pink with the white edging. Cute!! I have planted out my orchid I got for my birthday last year. The possums didn\'t touch it, so I\'m hoping it will survive although it got a bit burnt in the heat in December. I had one surviving geranium vut the possums found that, too, and ripped it appart, scattering the pot all over the patio. Ah well.
We have a holiday today for the Queen\'s birthday. I\'ll be doing some writing - I have to present a paper at a conference in July.
