Gained 2 lbs

Well, I feel frustrated.  I was feeling really awful yesterday.  I think with all of the stress, and everything else, and also the Haiti earthquake, I let it all get the best of me and had a very bad weekend.  Ate junk food all weekend and lots of it.  Total binge episode:  pizza, potato chips, double portion of spaghetti, multiple chocolate donuts, pancakes and syrup with bacon....  you get the picture.  And I just found myself crying many times late last week and over the weekend at the news and watching hurt babies being pulled from the rubble and amputees.  It just ripped me up.  And the guilt that goes along with it, and the guilt of the bad eating.  So I gained 2 lbs and am back up to 146 lbs.  And I felt like a total failure ALL day yesterday and it just threw me into not getting a lot done.  I spent the entire day in the kitchen cooking and eating.  Ugh! I had gotten 14 days in a row of over 10k steps!  Saturday was like 8500 and yesterday was only 4975.  So today, I am back on track.  Cheerios and milk and coffee for breakfast.  Baked chicken thigh (no skin) for lunch with green beans.  I am sucking down water right now.  No exercise yet, but going to the Y tonight for my Health Circle class and will get in a workout.  Have to find something healthy for dinner.  Paul bought me some apples.   I did read 3/4 of my book over the weekend:  Dead Until Dark (Southern Vampire Mysteries) book 1  Got some of the Christmas decorations down.  House is a cluttery mess right now and that is not helping my mood.  I watched a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful movie last night: "Amazing Grace".  Wow!  I think this kind of snapped me out of my funk!  It is about William Wilberforce who is in Parliament in London England in the late 1700's, battling to abolish slavery.  It is a true story.  His priest is the one who wrote the song "Amazing Grace." And gave him the inspiration.  He fought for 15 years to abolish slavery in England and finally won!  So if he can do that, I can lose a few lbs, right?
