good

Decided to keep an open mind about this counselor.  He says he's worked with teens for 25 years..... What he didn't say is how effective he's been working with them.  T says he's weird.  I agree but, at least, T doesn't say he doesn't like him.  The fellow is extremely talkative and not very clear.  Since he knew my husband was coming home for this counseling session - you'd think he would have had a session with us.  Instead he decided he was just going to talk to our son.  I asked him when we would be included and he said next week.  There are a few things I wanted to talk to him about but I never got the chance.  I think tomorrow when he comes here - I am going to corner him before he talks to T.  This fellow is just as laid back as my hubby.  I will give this a chance, however.  If I feel it isn't working, I will seek help out on our own.

If you compare him to your husband, and you haven\'t had a session, are you giving him a fair chance? Good for asking about exp; ask again about outcomes.....and his type of therapy and expectations of therapy. Good Luck!!!!!
