Future

You'll have to take pity on my writing style. I tend to be very dramatic. Especailly with my titles, they aren't lies, just embelished a little. But this one is true, no embelishing.

Part of my amazing disease is that B cells flood my lungs every 3 years or so, taking my lung capacity from the 90's to the low 60's in a matter of months. To kick those freeloading jerks out of my lungs I have to take Rituximab, which is a chemotheropy drug. I don't know if it posts the date with this as well because it's my first post. But I had my last Chemo, February of 2016, so I was supposed to be all good for 3 more years. NOPE. Iam now doing chemo AGAIN because it didn't work the first time, well it did but only for a couple months. Which now means I get to go from every 5 years to every 6 months.

Now here's where the future comes into play. I obsess over things, especailly things I can't control. So I was obsessing over chemo until I found out my local indoor football team was being disolved. The team that I had come to think of as my friends and older brothers. Which meant they would go home and I'd most likely never see them again. Well, two teams in the AFL (Arena Football League) picked up about 10 of my football big brothers between the two teams. WELL, those teams are playing against each other only three times this season. I should mention, I live in Oregon, both teams are located and play in virginia. The first was the day after my chemo (Not happening), the third is in August and that's WAY too far away. The second one, however. Is three days before my birthday. My birthday that I have spent four straight birthdays in the hospital. I want to fly to Virginia for the game. I have a job and can have the money by then for airfair AND Hotel stay. But I wanna stay from the 21st to the 24th. And my mom is the manager of a store that can't really funtion without her. And of course, no matter how old I get my mother will NOT let me fly somewhere alone. And she may not be able to get the time off. But I think there's another reason she isn't giving me a Yes or No answer. I don't know what it is.

I'm dying to go (Poor choice of words). My doctor even said it would be the perfect time, ride square between my rounds of chemo. I miss my brothers, I wanna see them. I want to travel outside of Oregon...I need this. I need something else to look forwards to that isn't the next good day. I need something to help me through the bad days, I need this. How do I convince her it's worth the risks of flying? How do I convince her it's worth the time off? How do I convice her?
