Furniture fumes?
Ok so the paint fumes are not bothering me anymore, but the furniture fumes are! LOL! Wow! I never remember having that problem before! Don't get me wrong, I love having a new sofa and all , it's been a long time since I had a sofa! I threw out the last one when the kids funked it all up by not keep the washable cover on it! So all I had was chairs and the floor for a long time! But seriously, can the smell from a sofa really mess with your sinuses?!! I actually think it is making my eye burn a little too! ????? What's a girl to do? I haven't told my husband though! He would want to bring the furniture back and start all over again looking for a sofa that doesn't do that! No, no , nooooooooooooooooooooo! I will not go through all that shopping again! THe sofa is made with microfiber and it's a sectional. It's this or nothing if I have to start all over again! LOL! I went through the same torture when we were looking for a mattress! And that didn't turn out well either! I can't sleep on it anymore! We got a extra firm because my husband and his back but decided not to get it with the extra padding, thinking it would flatten too fast. We decided to save money and put our own padding as needed! That does not work! But fortunately we were given a full size mattress that is very cushiony! We got it on the floor in our room and everytime I sleep on it my husband tells me he misses me! LOL! Will will be getting a new mattress in the near future that we hopefully can sleep on together! We were told that they now have a mattress that has a split type but didn't ask how much for it since we were trying to buy a sofa at the time. As I've said before, we don't go on vacations and when we do go out to eat, it's usually on the cheaper side. So that's the only reason we have what we do! I don't care about the fancy resturants but I wish we could have had a few vacations or at least do some kind of fun activity near home! I use to long to go bowling, but I couldn't stand the smoke! Now that they have them smoke free, my hands and shoulder are stopping me! I can't win for loosing! And I still wish they had smoke free pool rooms! None here, that I'm aware of! We did find that there is a place with miniture golf, but haven't been able to find the time when we remember it! LOL! And I still don't know if it will be worth any pain I have playing it! It's been forever since I played minature golf! You know what I do get to do?!!! Well if it's free I get to watch fireworks and go to parades, which we do have a lot here! Although my husband and I have wanted to go less because of worse crowds and more bad behavior of some people! Oh that reminds me! My husband said that there is an increase in gangs in our neighborhood to boot! He has been hinting that I should stay in locked doors when he isn't home! Ha! I believe that no matter what you do, when it's your time to go, you will go one way or another! Besides, I'm not scared of death, just pain! Which I have all the time now anyway! Yes in these times going on vacations can be expensive. And when the things you can do are limited by your physical state its really the pits!
Dont give up however look for things you both can do together. Activities are important.
