Funeral tomorrow and another one Tuesday
I am doing a funeral for a friend, tomorrow, that I have known for almost 60 years. I was with her when she died Tuesday. I have another funeral to do Tuesday morning of an elderly man, whose wife is wheel chair bound.
I then have a wedding rehearsal Friday and a wedding Saturday next week. It seems I am either marrying or burying someone about every week or so.
Life gets very tough at times. I visited the hospital today and went by another friend of mine's house but, there was no answer. He was told last week he has cancer but, they can't find where it is. He went Wed. for 2 type of tests to see if they could find it but, when I stopped by his house today, no one answered the door. I will try again tomorrow after the funeral.

YOU ARE A VERY STRONG MAN TO BE ABLE TO DO THESE FUNERALS. I KNOW THATS WHAT MINISTERS DO BUT TO HAVE TO DO ONE FOR A LONG TIME FRIEND....YOU ARE JUST SO STRONG TO DO ALL THAT YOU DO. IM GLAD THO THAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO SOMETHING HAPPY AND DO A MARRIAGE. I PRAY THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TALK TO YOUR FRIEND TOMORROW. IVE ALREADY BEEN THRU THE CANCER ORDEAL WITH MOST OF MY FAMILY HAVING IT AND THEN I HAVE HAD IT ALSO. I NEVER KNEW THAT THE DRS COULD TELL THAT YOU HAVE CANCER BUT NOT KNOW WHERE ITS AT. I PRAY FOR YOU FOR GOD TO FILL YOU WITH HIS STRENGTH TO GET THRU TOMORROW WITH THE FUNERAL OF YOUR DEAR FRIEND AND FOR THE LORD JUST TO STRENGTHEN YOU EVERYDAY WITH HIS LOVE AND FILL YOU WITH HIS LOVE. Our whole lives are a blend of sadness and joy but yours, as of late, seems to be a long list of loss. I pray that the weddings and good news will soon outweigh the grief...although, it is really a wonderful time when a saint enters the gates of Heaven...it is sad to us that they are no longer on this side of eternity. Thinking of you always.......I know the funerals will be hard for you.... I know they are never easy but you are a blessing to so many for the times they are grieving and when you are able to marry a couple and bless their union....... big hugs and love...........
