fun saturday
at first, kinda pathetic usual saturday morning fun, of 15 minute/one mile bike ride to 5&10 with five dollar off coupon for $25 of stuff.
Right afterwards for 6! hour, $45 lecture, that was a waste; I thought it was gonna be about writing, but turned out to be about web sites/marketing for would-be writers...by a web site designer/marketer.
but then my alpha male friend knocked; went to walmart/subway---where i bumped into a "girl" i haven't seen in a year; i got a rare hug hello and goodbye; told her it was nice to see her again.
then to a minature golf course/dairy bar i never knew existed---with the place packed and lines at counters as though it was some carnival.
my alpha male friend enjoyed himself flirting with some women, including giving golfing tips to a blonde who showed lots of cleavage when she bent over for her five dollar bucket of balls at the driving range. His tip and her swing almost resulted in somebody nearby getting hit in the head with a golf ball.
1980 pinball machines for me, in the arcade; sort of stuff i have reaccurant dreams about.
And i saw a live racoon, in a open barn, on the back road!
And, a bear, at end of a clearing/start of woods.
In a two mile ride, I saw a racoon, a bear, some geese, and deer; wish I would have had my camera.
Also wish I would have had sunscreen and a hat; a very rare two hours in the sun for me.

Far out, oy vey :) Sounds like a good day.
Is sunscreen expensive there?
/I (finally) aquired a camera small enough to carry almost everywhere.
Since the turn for good weather I\'ve been keeping it in my backpack
is what I mean.
thanks, and a late hi, Calebb.
sunscreen, like almost everything, i buy at walmart....trouble with sunscreen is that it blocks the pores, and sweat it off.
download picasa from google, to have fun with photos; can change color, trim off sides, even turn photos black and white; i waste a lot of time fooling with such stuff, after wasting my school years in art class at vo-tech;)
Too bad about the lecture being a bust but sounds like you had a very good day otherwise! I love seeing wild animals too.
Have you tried the spray on sunscreens? They last a lot longer and I have never had a problem with sweating them off
hi; TroJanThunder,
my usual late response from library....
running/bicycling and all sunscreens just dont work for me; i especially hate when forehead gook sweats into my eyes.
gonna be covering one spot on my face with a small band-aid every time i go out in the sun, so it doesnt get worse.
only positive: sunlight is a good source of vitamin d; can prevent pancreatic cancer.
