The Kitchen here in our school divide into two kitchens, one for cuisine and another one for pastry both of them are well equipped, organised and clean ready for all students to learn all the new techniques and skills. Both of our chef are so friendly and have so much experience, we can ask or get any advice about any technique or thing that we don't understand from them. And if any one ask me where should they study culinary in France I would highly recommend Gastronomicom. From the moment I saw pictures of beautifully decorated plates created by smiling students and chefs I knew that there was something special about Gastronomicom cooking school in France. I started imagining myself as a student there, learning from great chefs about French cuisine and patisserie, improving my cooking skills and plating and meeting new people from all over the world.
The future plan for Lyon’s CIG aims to be as innovative and forward-looking as the history of the building it is located in, by engaging with the economic and environmental challenges of tomorrow’s food. It will be a place where people can come to work, exchange, promote, experiment and innovate. The focus will be as much on Michelin-starred cuisine as it is on everyday food, going beyond the boundaries of gastronomy. I don’t think that either is really better than the other, and I would be happy to bring my children up in either country, and for now that is the UK for us. I would say there is far more respect from “youth” in the UK than in France – and I base this on my experiences in Berkshire and London, and the French Riviera and Avignon. I base this on what I see out in public, and what I see with friends, friends of friends, and family. Although there is obviously good and bad in all countries, this is my general feeling.

And I hope that people just remain curious and enjoy and share and realize that all of these little businesses are the fabric of Paris and the French community and take advantage and get to know them and, you know, explore the city. Jane - So that’s something we’re slowly starting to get into. Because again, in the effort of sharing French culture, people, not people that, you know, it’s often that Paris seems to represent France for so many visitors. And France is such a diverse as we know, I don’t have to tell you this, but French is so very diverse in the products and the peoples and the terroir.
