fuck this job
I work with kids my age. get yelled at by ones basically my age. the assistant manager makes fun of me for having so many injuries and getting injured easily. I CANT FUCKING HELP IT! same with my hearing because I can't hear well on the headsets for drive thru. I've always had a fucking hearing issue I've gotten made fun of for it for a long time. I'm sick of this and I'm sick of constantly hurting. I can't lift heaving things at work or scrub anything because of my frickin shoulder. and yes it is out right now and it will be until next Monday because the chiropractor is out this week. fuck this. I need a good job for onceĀ

It\'s completely unprofessional for the assistant manager to make fun of you for your injuries. I would report him to the manager. As far as your hearing problem, you have rights there too. They can\'t treat you like that. Stand up for yourself woman!!!
but it\'s so hard. I can\'t stand up to people who are higher than me... especially if I know nothing will happen and there really is no use. I\'m just gonna stop talking to these people and maybe they\'ll leave me alone. this job is most def not helping my goal with not being so hard on myself... in fact it\'s making it worse
Believe it or not, at my grown age I\'ve been made fun of at work. I would also have to leave sometimes due to depression or anxiety and when I\'d come back everyone would act mad. There\'s alot of drama and backstabbing in ANY job. I worked at Bojangles and let me tell you, it was hell. Just know that you\'re not the only one. I also agree with shtupndance, the manager is very unprofessional making fun of an employee. Just look at it this way. If he was so smart, or powerful he wouldn\'t be heckling a teenage employee. His little fast food paradise my be all her has. You\'re not alone. Kacey
Oops, I mean \"All he has.\"
It seems like it IS making things worse for you. You need to take care of yourself. I feel like people kick you around a whole lot. You can\'t let them. Some people are inherently mean. They sense that you are weak, and they push for your reaction. If you don\'t have the strength to say something to them, then don\'t. You can silently not allow those people to treat you poorly. Your assistant manager makes fun of you for your injuries? To yourself, make fun of his stupid haircut, or his big ears, or ANYTHING else you can see. He doesn\'t get to have the last word. I was picked on BRUTALLY in school. I was miserable. I had two friends. But one day my mom asked me a question that changed me. I was crying because of something someone had said to me, and she looked at me and said \"If that person wanted to be friends with you, would you even want to be friends with them?\" I thought about that for a little bit. \"No. She\'s really mean, she\'s not even nice to her friends. And she\'s not very smart.\" The more and more I thought about it, the more I realized that I liked them less than they liked me. I made friends with people in other grades. I had the awesomest friends. And when they made fun of me, I outwardly ignored them, and just smiled to myself with my internal comeback. They didn\'t get to me anymore. I\'m still a little socially awkward, but a few years ago I noticed something. I have very few friends, but everyone likes me. The mean people pick on me, because I\'m awkward and I make it easy, but even those people have nice things to say about me.
Next time someone picks on you... stand up for yourself. Internal monologue: \"Look at him on his power trip... (laugh to yourself and smile a little)... it\'s french fries and cheap burgers, pal... it\'s not that serious. Get a life.\" I promise... you\'ll feel better :)
thanks, this really does help
Good :) If you have a really bad day, message me, and we\'ll make fun of them together :)
haha thanks :)
