Frustration

The past few days have been tough.  My stbx is pushing me hard to sell.  She's saying now's the time to sell as we'll get the best price possible.  Yeah....she thinks she's going to Israel in a few months.  On the other hand I would need to find a place to buy or rent.  I've made offers on a couple of condos but neither got accepted because someone from out of state had cash and went way over list.  Rental units aren't much better, either.  Then there's the daughter with her ex husband/current boyfriend with two kids.  Neither of those adults have a clue how much money it's going to take to rent a minimum of a two bedroom unit AND will allow them to have a 40 pound dog.

To make matters worse, my daughter's ex husband is a pot smoker, big time.  I could care less what he smokes or ingests.  I view pot in the same light as I view beer.  The problem is that he has pot plants on the deck and in their bedroom.  It's smelling up the house.  I'm being told that could affect the sale price by as much as 30%.  In the meantime, I have an upset family because all I did was walk out onto MY deck that I've been maintaining for the past 20 years. I invaded "their" privacy.  Yay!

I can't wait until this divorce is over and we've all gone our separate ways.
