Frustrated with Life in General

...I used to get immense joy from school and good grades...but lately I've just lost it...that joy...I can't seem to find it anywhere...except maybe riding my motorcycle...but just like a drug...as soon as I am done and back to reality i get those immense feelings of sad...and there is no happiness or joy in anything.... Right now I am smack dab in the middle of Finals week and I can't wait for the stress of it all to be over...but I also, cant find the motivation to study...I took an exam last night and I just know I blew it...cause I couldn't even think... I am also sick...with this winter storm...my allergies and sinuses are just killing me...I have a runny nose, a sinus headache that I've had for weeks, and my blood pressure is through the roof...why? well its my own fault...I don't take my meds but even if i did...I still wouldn't be happy or find any joy...LIFE JUST SUCKS RIGHT NOW!

I have severe depression with panic attacks. I deal with these same feelings a lot especially in the winter time. It is important to devert your attention and keep busy so you aren\'t dwelling on these feelings all the time. If there are other things you like to do I would fill your time, as much as you can, with these things. If you don\'t then find new interests. Check new things out. Getting involved with others and helping them is a good way of both lifting your spirits and realizing you do have purpose and skills you may not even know or realize. Focus is a problem. I wouldn\'t try to do too much. Try doing one thing each time. That is what I do and it seems to work well for me. Trying to do too much becomes confusing and too much. Take your time. Be good to yourself and try to accomplish something each day. Doesn\'t matter what it is. Take care, Eve

God be with you. It is a hard time of year for many. It is terrible the stress holiday\'s give us. Not to mention the sting of depression when we all should be happy. Society presses us to spend money even when we don\'t have it. That just makes us feel worse. Look to God.
