minus 5 this morning.My Dad passed away on Monday, so I am off work for a few days. There is no funeral, he is being cremated, and we will have a memorial in the spring at my brother's place in Alberta.Things are ok though. We have been tidying up the yard for winter, the electric lawn mower did a nice job in grinding up all the leaves, however, there are many many more to fall. Its so pretty here.One more week, and I will have been given a whole year of sobriety. I am so thankful to my friends in here for supporting my efforts, and for A.A. in taking me back in and reminding me of the way to happiness. I am off to do some shopping today, I hope everyone has a beautiful day.xoxo

My condolenses on your Dad Janeygirl. How old was he? It\'s a good thing that you are sober, to have a clean head and CONGRATS. on 1 year thats awsome, my sister passed in May of this year and im glad that I was in the program or I probably would have gone on a binger, that kills the pain, so we think you know. I hope that things go ok for you and hang in there, take care...
Thank you, he was 89, and quite ill. its a good thing he went so fast I guess, as the pain must have been awful for him.
