From the mouth of babes

My Grandson, 8, is such a blessing for me.
He keeps me company upstairs when I can't get out of bed.  He reads to me and tells me very long, very detailed updates on where he is at on his and Grandpa's video game.  (If they beat this one they are going to stand in line at midnight for the new one in March!)
He takes his walkie-talkie with him when he goes to see his posse.  I am not allowed to say I Love You or call him Smoochie or any such embarrassing thing.  We talk in radio talk; Old G (that's me) to Big G (that's him), Big G Come In Big G.  Couple of weekends ago He couldn't get a response from me so he and his posse stormed into the living room on recon I guess.  I had fallen asleep on the couch.  I had had an impressive flare and was flat lining after stopping the Prednisone.
He says "Grandma!  You need to turn your radio up, I've been calling you like 100 times".
I said "Honey, I'm sorry I've got a really bad headache"  He said "It's probably your brain tumor".
As the posse filed out I could hear the boys "Wow, your Grandma's got a brain tumor!"  (my super duper coolness just increased) and my boy replies, "Yeah, but it's real little".   (and there it went)
Over and Out : )
