From my mind to my fingers, my story.....
God works in Mysterious Ways, we just have to look around and find the reason why.For myself, I guess it was my calling.I never thought in a million years I would get the virus, that my 3 brothers and boy friend, had contracted, then in 2000, I am diagnosed with it.I knew there was a reason, but why, then I started towards getting the necessary treatment, got rid of the virus, met a whole new world of people (Heppers) people with hepatitis c, the nicest bunch of people I have ever met, so I stayed around a bit, and learned a lot, more and more every day, months turned into years, so here I am today almost a decade later, a better person, loved by many, many many hepper friends that I have helped along the way. I am happy, I had a calling in life, I will be remembered for something, something that God needed out of me, both my patience, and my compassion for people, people like you and me, who were diagnosed with Hepaptitis c, a very bad virus, that can rob you blind when your not looking, so now you know, you need to win, the war against the Dragon.I am here for you my friend, so are the rest of the bunch, a bunch of great people, whom are all in the same boat as you and I.I will pray that you get the proper treatment, and get rid of this virus.Love MckenzieOne day at the time ps: Tonight one of my darling members of the Hepatitis c community, wrote a journal entry and was wondering why, why me he or she says, I started to write and wrote so fast without thinking and this is what came out from my mind to my hands I typed so fast, and there it was, an inspiring story, my story, I've always wanted to write poems, a book, but never knew how, I guess tonight it just came naturally.Thank you Lord for making me a better person.Good night to all my hepper friends.Love Mac xoxoox

That was incredibly beautiul and moving - i could tell it came directly from your heart dear friend....I know that every word is true cause you were truly my mentor thru tx and have continued to touch my life and I feel blessed by that.
I would love to see you write a book - I think you would be a natural and there definitely needs to be one out there and who better than you who is so familiar with both the human and medical side of information....god bless you hun you are an amazing warrior woman!

The Lord or not, YOU are responsible for the great person you have become, and that should be recognised by both yourself and your community. You are without doubt an OUTSTANDING leader, but why am I not surprised to find that you are FEMALE?
Keep up the great work, and look to share the load some if you can, as I am sure that such a great leader as you will have sporned some great talent along this super journey of yours who would no doubt at all be able to fill your void. I know what you mean McK. I feel the same way about having depression. If I never had it I would never be able to relate to people with it. God has taken care of me every step of the way. Even though I do not have hepC I feel very blessed to have you as a friend.
