God's Help...Have you ever felt pushed out of your comfort zone-like the Lord was speaking to you, calling you higher upward to His Holy calling of being like Himself? That's the way I felt today in church. I think about me, myself, and I-almost exclusively. I hate to admit it, and I am not at all proud of it, but it's true. I am selfish, and do not put myself out there for others nearly as much as I could--or do what I could at the time I could do it for my fellow man; even for family and friends. But today the Lord asked me to take a tremendous leap of faith, and go on a missions trip with my church, or perhaps Campus Crusade for Christ, at some point next year. It will really test my limits, and my faith, and take me out of my comfort zone, into the realm of genuine service and ministry, something that Christ exemplified every day!! I am happy, nervous, exctited, impatient, and terrified, all at the same time.Whoever is reading this, if you would like to, would you pray for me? I want to do this for the right reason, and be able to look back on this experience in the years to come, with happy pride in what the Lord accomplished in and through me. I know that my growth as a Christian, will begin with me boasting in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may dwell in me"-as the apostle Paul did. I want a renewed mind, and a changed heart for the Jesus' sake, and for His kingdom.

I will pray for you!
Jasmine, I will be praying for you hon, God is going to and is using you big time like I said in your other email I just wrote you. I also would like to go on a short term missions trip and my biggest thrill is doing something to help someone else. God says you can cast out demons in my name, you can lay hands on the sick and they will be healed and he is proud of us when we do that but he also said the greatest of these is love. Love your neigbour/ family as yourself. When I was a kid in Sunday school, ( Long time ago) lol, we used to sing a little melody called JOY, Which meant Jesus first, yourself last and others in between. Keep hanging unto the faith and grow with the thorns which strengtens our character. Love G
