From Anger to Blame

I've been cutting back on my depression meds to only taking a 40 mg every other day and I do not know if I'm more sensitive to negative energy or if my DH is just putting out more negativity and I'm reacting like a completely normal rational person.
He is a good man. He works insanely long hours. I know he wants to make me and the kids happy. He just seems to forget conversations and assume that I can read his mind. I cannot.
My son is sick and his fever has gone from fever and occasional cough to fever with croupy sounding breathing and misery.  Poor kiddo. It will be another day home just the two of us tomorrow.
I have been staying on my diet but tonight I'm really hungry and I want to eat things that are not on my diet.  I wrote a little email to my friend telling her that I'm lonely and I'd like to have a girls night out for birthdays this time of year and she did not reply. I know she does not always reply to things so I'm not taking it personally, but I hope it just means that she already has a party or GNO in the works to surprise me.  I would just like to have some attention on me for something good.
THat sounds pathetic but is it not better to know and acknowledge it?
I want to get on the same page as my sweetheart. It would really help if we could get things in line so that I don't get annoyed with him and could just enjoy him instead of be worried that he was going to mope and or gripe about things I do and don't do.
Time for me to try to sleep.
