During the Alzheimer\'s years when I was caring for my Mother this was a place I would bring her in the middle of the night when she couldn\'t sleep or was res-less, I would invite her to go for a ride and off we would go 40 miles in to the night to Friends Pond. We would sit on the bench\'s and listen to the nights sounds and sip hot tea I would bring in a thermos. It was especially beautiful on full moon nights.
I love Friends Pond, it will always remind me of those years I was blessed to care for Mommy.
What a lovely serene place for you and your mum to come to and the name does suit it,that was so caring and thoughtful of you doing this for your mum,it\'s nice to have special memories.Hope your well.
