Friends and Prayers
This experience with Heinze has made something so clear. Sadness is greatly lessened when one has true friends who care. Years ago I lost a Yorkie in a sort of strange accident. I cried for weeks and it tookforever for that emptiness to fill up. You have been so giving and loving and caring - it has donemiracles. I am remembering the strong, brave Heinze that used to love to run,dig for gophers, warn intruders, play with Millie and so muchmore. What a good boy he was. RIP Heinze - my baby boy - you are loved. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers.

Oooooh, those wonderful memories, and what joy he brought to you and Millie, too. I understand, with all my heart....
Linda,
Sharing your memories and your insight has helped me. You are such an inspiration. Please continue to share your Heinze stories.
I am so sorry that you lost Heinze. I know that some people think of dogs as just pets but I beg to differ. I think dogs and pets in general are more like family. They join us in our joys and sorrows, they come to us when we are feeling sad or forlorn, they can even rescue us from disaster if they feel we are in danger.
*hugs* My prayers are with you.
