"friend" upset over squirrell story

Was two weeks ago a now kinda friend got mad, stopped talking to me, cause I simply mentioned to others that on the way home from somewhere she almost hit a squirrel while driving; dumb squirrel ran across the road and she hit the brakes.  It's the sort of funny video you can find on the internet; squirrel wasn't hurt, and car was ok too.

But, she went all rabid over this incident being revealed, with her being very religious while having a bad temper.
