Friend Has a Stroke

I had a good friend have a stoke Tuesday.  She works at the local bank here in town and her daughter lives across the street from me.  I have known her when she and her husband was dating. I guess I have know her about 50 years or more.  She was 1 year behind me in school.  Her husband was my lead guitar player when I used to play the bar and club scene years ago.  He passed away about 6 years ago.  I talked to her family members this morning and she is able to move her arms and legs but, she has speech issues and her memory is not good.  Her name is Sharon so, those of you who read my journal, say a prayer for her.  Thank you.

They need to have her try to sing. When we have a stroke and speech is affected, the patient can usually sing. Lots of doctors do not know this.

I agree with what maryjane said. I know someone who had speech problems after a stroke, but she was able to sing beautifully. Praying for her.
