Friend diagnosed with lung cancer

Just found out that Carla, a friend for many many years, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.  She is hopeful.  I lost a brother to leukemia 3 years ago last November and am still dealing with that.  Mostly still really angry and blaming God, but I believe God didn't kill my brother.  Anyway, she is hopeful she can beat this and I won't tell her or act otherwise, but I feel bitter about this horrible disease.
