Friend commits suicide
A friend of mine, committed suicide yesterday. He was 51 yrs. old , owned a business here in town. I don't know all the details, I guess no-one really knows why or what prompted his action. His aunt attends my church and the entire family are in total shock.
His boys are grown and his wife is a traveling, homecare nurse. I have known him for about 10 yrs or longer and I never dreamed he would do something like this. His funeral is Sat. This is really sad.

Thank you for sharing. My deepest condolences. My prayers are with his family and friends, including yourself. Sadly, many forget that Depression is a life-long affliction. It has ebbs and flows, but it lingers with us. Proper treatment should always be maintained. Regrets do tend to get stronger with age. That can definitely cause Depression to deepen. Knowing that we have A Lord that lifts that burden, helps tremendously. I hope this sense. Thank you and God Bless.
Oh no.... I served in the Marines with someone who committed suicide. Well, at least his death was ruled one. I still have my doubts, though, because he didn't show any signs of depression / struggle. I'd like to think it was an accident, but nobody knows. Regardless... his death was a shock and left a hole in our hearts. My sympathies and sorry for your loss. Hugs to the family.

I'm so sorry mike I wish their was more I could say to help u and his family but I do know u would have down everything you could have done I know this because you r and always have been a real trusted friend of mine your friendship reaches along way I know you r and will be their for his family take care mike I'm sorry...
