Fried my computer

Well, 2nd time hopefully is the charm.  I am on Paul's laptop and he has the pad mouse and I hate it.  The cursor does kooky things.  I just did a whole big journal and it disappeared!  Anyway, fried my computer on Friday.  It was about to catch fire.  My built in microwave died yesterday.  My one burner to my built in cook top stopped working.  So now I have to get a replacement computer and hopefully can at least retrieve my Fitday and my steps from my pedometer!  So I am most likely not going to be able to come here for a few days.  Paul wants to give me a stupid used computer.  It isn't that I care.  But I don't want to go through this and then 6 months from now go through this again!  My current computer is only 2 years old or so!  It was only $250, cheapy special of the day.  Paul says I burned it out because I leave it on all day.  But I am here all day!  What does that have to do with anything? Food is bad.  Steps are bad.  Started TOM today and hormonal and crampy and emotional.  My work printer is acting goofy today too!  It is bitter cold and I just want to go back to bed and hybernate until Spring!  David's one black goldfish died yesterday and I cried.  Paul kept saying he was alive.  Well he was sideways in the bowl for 2 days!  The filter was pushing him around, he wasn't swimming for gosh sakes!  So I will just "suffer through" this week and pop out next week and pick up the pieces.   Paul and I were going to renovate the kitchen this year anyway.  But I am dreading it.  Last house, I went without a working kitchen from February to November!  I told Paul I would never do it again.  i was willing to wait to redo the kitchen to get what I wanted.  So here we go again.  And he is still working on the basement after 1 1/2 years!   Oh well.  Back to work.  Hopefully will get a new computer up and running soon and catch up with you all!

You will get your fitday numbers because that is a program that is online. Unless you have the purchased downloaded version. Then I am not sure.
You cannot burn out your computer by leaving it on, unless the fan gets overloaded with dust/fluff and the harddrive and everything overheats as a result.

You would love a laptop. You don\'t have to be restricted to a touch pad with a laptop. You can have a normal cordless mouse that is just like the mouse on a desktop computer. And they are really inexpensive now and do all the things you need. I just got a laptop that is more powerful than our ridiculously expensive desktop and it was $399. Argh. But I do love it. I got one with the number keypad on the right hand side so that I can do accounting work as well.
I must apologize for smiling at the fish story. Hopefully one day it is a little funny to you too. Thinking it was swimming. Oh goodness. I hope David is OK with the loss.
Sounds like Paul needs to finish the basement first before tackling another project??? Do you BBQ in the summer - is it easier then to have no kitchen? Crock pot?
Hopefully things settle down in your household. Sounds like a wild time there! Hey, come stay with me!

Wow you are really haveing a rough time right now...everything burning up or breaking down! It can only get better...right? Laptops are great, get the wireless mouse with it!
Must be the \'man thing\' ---my Hubby has at least 5 started and unfinished projects going now! Yesterday he was telling me about the work bench he was going to make and I wanted to scream - \"Please finish what you all ready have started!\" Sigh!

OH NO!!! I read your renovation nightmares and it just brought visions of my husband taking forever to do the work on our new house! Oh, geez! Good luck with getting your electronic woes fixed...could it be something in the electrical system shorting out all of those things at once?

I say laptop too...I don\'t have one but I want one! I want to give Eyren our Mac Mini and Hannah is getting a PC from my SIL. I would be happy with a less expensive laptop too but hubby wants a Mac laptop...they are sooooo expensive!

TOM is the worst time to try to be 100% on the track...I know for myself no matter how many times I say \"this month will be different\" when it comes around I just stop functioning at full capacity. So, don\'t beat yourself up...be proud of any and all things accomplished and move forward.

Have a much better day today!
Much Love!

You are preaching to the choir about feeling yuck around your TOM...I am not a normal human being around that time :) I am sorry to hear that you are struggling, but I have no doubt AT ALL that you will get back on track and continue to succeed at all your goals! Everyone has a blimp in their radar every now and again...you WILL get through it! Good luck with everything!!

Wow, pure craziness in your end, huh? Sorry to hear about your struggles, I hope it gets better soon! Hope your computers gets fixed too, that always suck! Yes, my TOM should be coming anyday now and it\'s always a tough time. I feel your pain! I\'m sure you will get right on track soon and feeling less stressed. This too shall pass, right? Take care of yourself!
