(Friday, Sept. 28) Back on the Z-Pack

Well, I'm back on zithromax--I have my annual bout of bronchitis. Seems like nothing else will get rid of it!
I had round 2 of 3 of the crown-work done on my tooth last Saturday. The most painful part was when he kept taking off/putting on the temp & perm crowns (perm crown needs to be fine-tuned before final installation--or as I say, "coronation"!). I'm still constantly taking Advil to ward off the pain--if I don't it feels as if I've been punched in the jaw. I'm hoping this will all stop once the permanent crown is in. But I'll let the dentist know just in case. At first we thought it was because the temp crown was a little high, but now it's fine & it still hurts.
My H got the new car from his parents' area last weekend as well. The car itself is in excellent shape & it pretty big. I've nicknamed it the "Space Shuttle"! My only concern is that H hadn't gotten the bill of sale & title from the salesperson. Apparently, the salesperson says he has to file the paperwork with the state & then he will Fed Ex it out to us. So far, nothing. We'd better get it! We dropped $11K on that baby...
And speaking of $, cash flow isn't so great. A small part of it is that I need to stick to my $ instead of withdrawing from the account & reimbursing. But a large part is gasoline that H needs to travel for his job. He does get some reimbursement for it, but it far from covers the expense, gas being the cost it is these days.
The good news is that I do have some $ set aside to cover the crown costs (insurance only pays 50%) & my credit card bill.
Things have been quiet with my sister. I've arranged my FB so that I'm not seeing her posts all the time (not that they were directed toward me or anything, but I just felt the need for space from her), so I think that has helped me. I think I've been in the process of ramping down my expectations of her & of my other sister as well (sad as that has made me). Hopefully I'll have my attitude in a good place by Thanksgiving (which will be at Mean Sister's house).
Got an email from my mom & she asked if we wanted to go to the fair that's around the corner from her old house. To be honest, I think she wants to go visiting over there, but doesn't want to drive. Whatever. I'll see if both kids & my husband want to go. A bonus is that we'd get to see her brand-new place.
