Friday Morning 1/3/2014

So far so good this morning. My poor mom called this morning and I didn't hear the phone and the poor thing was balling her eyes out and kept calling. I feel so bad that she has to suffer because I'm broken. If I was normal she wouldn't have been so concerned. It makes me sad but at the same time happy that she cares so much and I feel the same about her. I don't know if I could go on without her. I pray that day is a very, very long time away. I don't even want to think about it.
The chronic pain is very mild right now but sadly I can't get too excited because this is what it does. It gives you the idea that maybe, just maybe, it's going away then BAM...it hits like a Mack truck. Hour by hour...that is my life.
Mentally I'm pretty good today. We didn't get crushed with snow but I still need to shovel at lunchtime. I made decent progress at work yesterday and I hope to do the same today. Shoveling snow will be my workout for today then I can do weights tomorrow.
At least I'm getting back to a bit of a routine. My concern is that I have about 2 weeks left of Klonopin. I'm praying the Prozac will have kicked into full gear and I won't need anything else but I have a followup with my primary doc Jan 22 so we can discuss and adjust.
I'm going to keep up with this nasty disease this time. I'm not going to allow "good enough" to be the norm. Humans shouldn't have to settle for good enough...we deserve to find true peace and happiness even though our world doesn't always make it easy.
So it's time to do some work...more later

I know what you mean about your mum there. Mine is also my rock and I feel guilty that she\'s had so much heartbreak over my depression and the way I feel about myself. I had the best parents and best childhood I could have hoped for and they don\'t deserve to have such a ****ed up daughter!

I too can relate to how you feel towards your mom. I lived 2 hours away from mine but talked to her at least once every day and more on weekends. I loved her with all my heart and she was my best friend. I lost her 3 years ago and think that I am still trying to deal with it. Enjoy her as well as the support she offers (which you obviously do). Glad you are having some relief from the pain and have been able to keep working out!. That is fantastic news as is the fact that you are also having a good mental health day. Sounds like you are gaining strength in all areas of your life and that makes me so happy for you!
