Ok this is a Pat upate. We saw the neurologist today who said there was NO stroke.Confirmed his symptons are like MS, but stressed he does nothave MS. When we mentioned Humira and he looked at the info online, it statesMS as a side effect. He was shocked......as of course were we.  Pat will go to an MS clinic, get assessed again, and hopefully get a med to stop his symptoms. Do to the diabetes he has neropothy to mid way up his legs, I don't know what happens further with this.  He will have a vision test, and a nerve conduction study next month, all at the Dr from today. P*ssed me off that his GP told him he'd had a stroke. This is the same Dr that apologized to Pat for not takingthis more  seriously. Shannon-Lee and her BF Chris are coming for dinner tonight, home made chow mein and a few other goodies, I may make a sugar free lemon pie too.So my DS pals, thinks may be looking up for us....I must think so anyway.Vicky, hang in there!.

Glad Pat did not have a stroke like the other doctor indicated, but sorry about the ms symptoms. What kind of vision trouble does he have? I have vision trouble. Thought once I was off Prednisone it would go away, but it hasn\'t yet.

His eyes are actualy pretty good. Because of the diabetes he has them checked regularly but this is thru the Neurologist so not sure why. He is down to 2.5 Prednisone/day. I may make that every second day when I fill his pill case tomorrow. Sorry to hear you had a rough time today. Sometimes it just sneaks up on you doesn\'t it? I hope you have a better Sunday.
