I was thinking about my mother and how she treated me.  She could be pretty selfish.  When I was 11 & 12, she got involved in these theater groups at a couple different colleges.  She wanted to be an actress.  I remember her dragging us with her and being around awful people.  I think these people were the ones who got her onto the drinking that killed her.  I don't think any of these people became famous.  She even left me home alone when I had the chicken pox to go to one of her acting classes.  I wouldn't do that to my son.

catching up on your journals....it\'s been both a good and bad week for you. i am glad your husband got a job, that takes a load off of your mind i am sure. families, both past and present, provide most of our stress and make it hard for us sometimes to heal. i can relate to your mother memories and feel for you very strongly. hugs....
