Friday-Encore Presentation

My doctors appt went fairly routine.  Dr says there is definately something going on on the right hand side and has ordered a routine mammogram.  (I needed one anyway).  It put my mind at ease somwhat when she told me that pain is usually not associated with breast cancer.  Yesterday I told my friend...I am always looking for the coldest fire to jump into-but...it's still fire.  More and more, I am leaning toward going up North.  I have had nothing but heartache since living here.  It won't be like the last time..Ill give it longer, and make the best out of it.  My RV friend texted me this morning and told me he lost his job.  He is a fellow trainwreck and this is what we most have in common.  Passionate and unpredictable, he lets his anger take over and it hurts him professionally.  Not my picture to color, but, he'll have to sort those things on his own. I'm not willing to carry another man. Its hard enough sorting things out for myself.

Congrats on having that step in the medical trial behind you. I love checking such items off the anxiety list.

North is a big place. Is the destination with the NJ Man? Just curious. . . Feel free to disregard the question.

Continued support while you sort.

Yes-it would be. He has remained a good friend and genuinely caring. Too soon to tell-not even close to making my mind up yet....if that ever happens. Even in a state of confusion, the world continues to turn and my life goes on.... I don't mind you asking questions. :)

Breast pain is really common, especially during perimenopause, because of the hormone spikes. There have been times where I couldn't even wear a bra because of that. It was always in one breast, kind of on the side, near my arm pit. It's not as prevalent as it used to be probably because my estrogen production is nearing the end. So hopefully that's all it is.

I can't recall the last time I had good male friends, maybe in college? I like men, it's not that. I just don't think they make the best of friends. It gets confusing, someone always ends up wanting more, etc. Yeah, don't carry another ANYBODY. You know how when you're on a plane and the flight attendant goes over the safety protocols? They tell you to put the oxygen mask on yourself first before you help another passenger put theirs on? It holds true in life. You have to help yourself.

Glad you got through your appointment today. Have a good one!

My non-traditional career has pretty much mandated that I have more male friends than female friends. Strictly circumstantial. I still tend to get more from eye-contact than gender yaddah blahs, wherever I encounter fellow humans.

That line between friend and fuck buddy is an essential boundary in my life, both professionally and therapeutically. I suspect you can guess how the word, "friend" gets used in a kiddie whorehouse. Spin me into hyper-sexual tizzies, it did. . . What moron can I rape tonight? I keep that beast well-guarded. Guantanamo Bay League.

But that is me. . . Every case is unique.

Yes, even a state of confusion, the world continues to turn and life goes on. Is that me or the world that is spinning?

Continued support while you sort your own, Sage.
