Friday and I'm still alive

It's finally friday and I'm still hanging in there. It's getting easier but I need to be off my feet more. I'm 50 and doing a young man's job. A coworker of mine is 39 and he says he don't know how I do it. It's a job and I need the money. It's physically exhausting even for younger people. I might still look for work I can do untill something happens.

I remember when I was younger. I was in debt and working two jobs I did not enjoy doing. Punishing my body never got me further ahead, it just caused more physical problems. Finally, I had enough and just threw myself into the Hands of the unknown.. That's when things changed for me, and life exponentially got better.

It's only for a short time to get our finances on track and save a little. My wife needs back injections again and the cat needs to go to the vet. He's old and lost a lot of weight. I need my hip and back adjusted too.

Sorry u have to do this job that even younger people would find physically challenging. I hope u can find something else that is not so physically hard on you.

I understand. I worked in an Amazon Sort Center for 2 years during the COVID pandemic 9/2020 - 9/2022. I was in better shape than my high school years. Mid40s and, I was running circles around kids half my age. You’ve got this! In the meantime, maybe think about sales jobs or online/remote customer service jobs. Many school districts need bus drivers too (good benefits and decent pay)
