Friday 13th bad news delayed until the 20th.
Friday 13th - nothing bad happened! I thought I had it made, but nooooo. Fate's calendar was a week off and caught me by surprise. Was doing a load of laundry when my son called from the downstairs bathroom, "Hey, there is water everywhere down here." Apparently the washing machine spun out its water and it came up through the toilet and over the side.
This is not the first time this has occurred. Over the years we have learned not to run the washing machine and dishwasher when its raining, not to run either the washing machine or dishwasher when its raining, and to be careful not to flush the toilet, take a shower, or run the washing machine or dishwasher when its raining. The street sewer has a tendency to back up in the basement, usually only once every two years or so when someone forgets the rules.
To my horror, I looked outside and observed the sun was shining. OH CRUD! A call to the plumber was in order. We have a new guy that comes not only packing an electric eel, but has his own sigmoidscope with laptop. Sometimes new technology can give you a whole new perspective on pipes. So we found the people who installed the bathroom put in a "T" instead of a "Y" which is the cause of our problem.
I am waiting on a call now to hear what it may cost to fix this problem. The least repair will require cutting through the wall and digging up the floor. The worst will entail digging up the driveway and we can't even tell if there is a break in the line from the house to the street yet.
So what was that about stress and PD? In the immortal words of Miss Scarlet O'Hara of Tara, "I can't think about that right now. If I do I'll go crazy. I'll think about it tomorrow." So tomorrow it is...

Stress! Ha, don\'t care for it one bit. I had the worst four years of my life leading up to the diagnosis of PD. Stress is a real trouble maker!
Ditto!!!! I believe it may have been a factor.
Yup
