Fri. 08/30/13...UPDATE

Well things have thankfully calmed back down around the house until next time. I just hope and pray the long 3 day weekend goes fairly smoothly.
Hubby has a job interview on Tuesday but not certain it will be something he can do or want. Hubby got laid off work the middle of August. Son is supposedly going to be out of town all week.....maybe home at night but not certain.
On a health related note, I am feeling decent considering everything of late. It has been very hot here the last few days and that has made it tough on me to be outside for long. Just going outside long enough to get to work was hard on me.  Then today, they had mowed the grass at work so that long with the heat just about choked me up big time until I could get inside the building for work!
Overall I am feeling pretty good, I guess. The main issue I am still fighting is tiredness/exhaustion. Of course, most all of my medicines feed into making me tired also.....pain pills, high blood pressure pills, warfarin, etc.  I have SOB on rare occasions and haven't had any panic/anxiety attacks for awhile. When I do they are mostly stress induced due to family issues of late and not due to health issues.
I am back to work with the school district. So far I have been able to get by with just using my cane although I do have a rollator I can use if need be. I have back issues which makes it tough for me to walk very far for very long. There are times I would like to just stay home and sleep but I make myself get up and go.  Thankfully, I only work a couple hours of day but it is enough to get me up and out of the house for awhile. Oldest granddaughter is now in Kindergarten so she thinks it is great she gets to see Grandma at lunch!
I know I need to get up and do more walking then I am but for right now with this heat, that isn't going to happen. The topper is that we are currently without health insurance since hubby got laid off and the company did not let the guys keep it until the end of the month. So I am trying to make certain I stay in decent health. I was lucky to get 3 months worth of Warfarin before we lost our coverage. Plus the INR check is down to once a month which helps also.
Here is wishing everyone a safe, fun, end of summer holiday weekend!
