Freak!!!! Again!!!
So, I go to a wedding party Saturday night. Mike is out of town and I felt very nervous about going without him, even though I have known most of these people for 30 years, I still feel uncomfortable around some of them, they really are Mike's old school friends and can be a bit snotty or maybe I just don't feel like I measure up.
It was a beautiful party. We have an artist in town that has taken a piece of property, he loves Australia, and has turned it into a wonderland for the community. Koa pond, and waterfalls, with alligators, kangaroos and butterfly gardens. It has a pavilion for entertainment with a bar.
I get there and am immediately greeted by friends, everyone going on and on about the new coffee bar and how excited they are. Our infamous Sheriff Grady Judd was even there. I found a couple of single ladies and hung with them all night.I am such an idiot thinking I am less than these people.
I got there around 7:00pm, got a glass of red wine and left around 9:30pm. I had three glasses of wine that entire time and so did not sleep well and woke up Sunday morning and felt like I had been partying all night!!! My body is so telling me to stop putting this poison in my body please!!!!
We are leaving this afternoon for CO. I am taking Mom. This is going to be challenging. I am worried about Mom and the altitude. I am not telling her that it may effect her so that she won't get it in her head.....I am just telling her to drink a lot of water.

I\'m not strong enough for social situations yet and not wanting to drink. Strange thing is I\'m out going person but also known as the party girl and makes everyone laugh. Feel like at 46 need to figure out who I am without alchol. I used to have a real problem with snobby or snotty people but then came to the term they act like that because they are so insecure and don\'t want people to see their true selves. Glad to went I to alone would not feel very comfortable
without any of your good friends. Good luck with Mom in CO hope her health is not effected.

Thank you!! We are here and it is beautiful!! She was a real trooper. It was a long day. And we both woke up this morning at five!! Our body clocks thought it was seven. It will take a few days to acclimate. I keep telling her to drink a lot of water!! So, glad to see our family
Glad you made it through the wedding. There were snobby people at my wedding too!
