Foxy and the Towel
It still fascinates me what I notice about Foxy. Like when she's walking back to the door after doing her thing in the back yard. Sometimes, she has this special "walk". It's more like a trot that I call a prance. Her little back side just wiggles side to side like she's done something special and I chuckle every time I see it. With us going through some very cold spells, I wrap her in a towel when we come back in the house when she gets on the couch. This can lead to some problems. She, like me, cannot stay in one place during the day whether it's following me to the bath room when I have to answer to the urges of the "pee pill" or going into the kitchen for a drink or a munch. And she has certain things she does when I move around the house. The pee pill is one, but when I do a "sitdown" in there, she lays down outside the door to wait. The way my bath room is set up, I don't have the paper roll on it's spindle so when I'm done, I just pull some off the roll. She knows that sound(it's not very loud) and when she hears it, she knows it's time to get up. But back to the towel. When she gets up the towel usually goes with her for a bit and I'll find it many places around the house,,,,the place where it finally slides off her back. Last night I got a chuckle when I noticed she'd gone to the kitchen for a drink(her drink and food dishes are just inside the door,) I looked in the kitchen and all I could see was her little backside with the towel still on her back! It was so funny! She came back into the living room and got on the couch with the towel left on the floor in front of it. Thank God I have Foxy. There is so much I'm still learning about her and it makes me love her even more.
