Fourth of July 2014
It has been a busy past few days with VERY LATE nights for all of us. It is now a little after 1 am when I am writing this and it is about the earliest of the last 3 nights!!
It has been overall a good weekend. We spent it with my daughter and her crew plus she kept the oldest granddaughter for a couple of days to give me a break!! YEAH!!
Hubby made it home late afternoon on July 4th and is home until early monday morning. So he is getting a little extra time off so to speak.
I have been having mild chest pains that I know are in part stress related but after the last couple of nights, I think the smoke and probably grain dust ( harvest season here) is also playing a part in things.
The kids seemed to enjoy the fireworks...both watching the ones we had bought get shot off plus the big fireworks display we attended on the 4th. so lots and lots of fireworks this weekend.
Tomorrow should be interesting as we wait to see if the oldest granddaughter's mother actually shows up for the visit or not. We are suppose to meet her at one of the local parks at like 11 am so she can visit her daughter whom she has not seen since last Nov. 2013!!
Other daughter just called and is heading to the ER as she is concerned about the baby. She flew home yesterday to Idaho from KCI and then road in a truck on a really bumpy road. Now she is complaining of having pains and the baby is not being active supposedly. So she is to update us later tonight or in the morning. She is 27 weeks along and it is her first time. It is going to be a long LONG last few weeks.
Son came and got some more of his stuff this morning out of the house. He did stop long enough to talk to and kiss his daughter while he was here. He is supposedly going to watch her here in a couple of weeks but I doubt he does. He was decent until a couple of things kind of sat him off for some reason......SIGH.
Time for bed......tomorrow will be a long day and time to play catch up on the house,etc as well as the visit from H**L.
