Found SOMETHING
It is 3:43 A.M.!! This is not unusual for me, because I am a night owl...ANYWAY. I was checking my checking account statement and realized just how much of the mulah going OUT was just in shopping. smdh. It's ridiculous, because I have a TON of stuff here at home surrounding me. I got online to check my eBay account for the hundreth time today and realized (like so many times before, that I have a shopping PROBLEM). So, I googled a support group and HERE I AM.... hopefully, with help, I can fully commit to this and get over it!! I have relapsed (quickly) too many times before. 1 of my goals in life is to OWN My own store (haha. Im serious). I KNOW and LOVE fashion, I enjoy Customer Service, and have plenty of business/retail experience. HOWEVER, if I cannot curb my addiction, I will NEVER REACH IT. 1) You don't bring sand to the beach 2) I need a certain amount of money SAVED to even invest in myself.
Anyway, I am glad to find this, because Shopping Addiction is not recognized as often as it should or it is glamorized in our society (especially for women). It's basically made into a joke.
IM HERE. IM READY TO COMMIT to overcoming this. I feel good about that, but I don't feel good about all these useless purchases, even if I do look fabulous!!
