Found a good book to share

Well, I have a few minutes to write a quick entry and then off to read in bed :)  I have tomorrow off from work for my birthday and I am so looking forward to just lounging and doing whatever tickles my fancy.  Going to do breakfast first with my daughter and grandbabies and then reading, computer games, funny movies, junk food, etc.Whatever!! lol  I just pray that somehow tomorrow the pain gets better than what I have been going through. It has been bad, very bad!
I found a book yesterday that is wonderful! I recommend it to anyone who has been newly diagnosed with fibromyalgia (or even not just newly possibly). It is helping me so much and making me feel like I am not insane, lol. It is so reassuring and it explains so very much. If I wasn't so tired and going through a bad case of fibrofog I could describe better to you exactly what I mean better. It's like someone read my mind and knew exactly what my fears, doubts and questions were! It has been great so far and I recommend having perhaps family members to read the beginning chapters also so they can kind of see and perhaps understand better what we go through.  I didn't even know my getting upset quickly and over-the-top over certain things (like the dishwasher not being loaded) was from the fibro! Or like when I am typing things at work and I re-read it and I see all these mistakes that I never would have made before, is from the fibro! It makes me feel not insane, lol. I lose everything, I forget so much, etc. It's all fibro, lol.  The book is called, "The First Year Fibromyalgia (a patient-expert walks you through everything you need to learn and do)" by Claudia Craig Marek.
Hitting the hay to read...will write more soon.  Me
