forgiving myself

I had a post on the board the other day and it was pointed out to me that I have to be able to forgive myself.  I haven't been able to do so just yet, but I'm working on it.  I keep reminding myself of a line I read at the end of a story in the Big Book, "I can't go back and make a new beginning, but I can start now and make a new ending".
