For My Son

I will make this entry short and hope it will help somone. My son is in jail and going through the court system for possible lewd and lascivious behavior. My son is not a monster and neither he nor I understand what he must have been thinking. To say that he is ashamed is an understatement and my heart is broken. I've heard of a mother's unconditional love and now I'm living it.
I've been looking on line to try to understand and find help for him. I came across an organization that may be helpful to some of you. It is called SASH. The Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health. You can find it at sash.net. There is a short video to introduce you to their organization and philosophy, a directory of therapists and a bookstore.
