For a simple life, something is always going on! ;p

Hello friends! :)
I just wanted to tell you all about what is new, scary, exciting, and mundane in my life. AKA, my life lol.
Well, my monday was 'just another manic Monday"-literally, in the bipolar sense of the word, hahaha. My dislike of change, (having to take some busses straight to Seattle from school), social anxiety, and anxiety of doctor's made the day very very stressful. When I got to my apppointment, they couldn't tell me much except that they weren't able to see all of my aorta with the echo they'd done, and that from what they had been able to see, it was a little narrow (a common concern that needs watching in turners syndrome). However, since my blood pressure is good they weren't too worried about it, and the rest of the test looked good. BUT-I now need a MRI of my heart....which means my whole body in a noisy, whirling tube for 90 minutes. Thank the Lord they prescribed me enough xanax to make me sleep ( I HOPE!!!) :)
Tuesday was Starbucks with my mom, and we had a LOT of fun chatting away over tea and a cappacino-good times good times ;) but as the evening wore on, I got more and more lonely...than I am ashamed to admit, I watched a chick flick with rapt attention, loving every minute of pretending that I was off in Ireland falling in love with a cute, quirky stranger instead of the actress-and then of course cried like a baby before I fell asleep.
So....needless to say, I didn't want to get up (do I ever at 6:30);) -slept in til almost 7 and had a nice relaxing breakfast instead of going to class. Oh well, we've already got quite a bit of housework done, the place is looking good :)
I have a great new goal for myself!!! Instead of attempting fiction in the contest this November, I will actually make a chapbook (manuscript for publishing). This is for the purposes of making myself a better writer, getting my poems in some semblence of order, and maybe even getting my name out there! ;D
Will you pray for strength for me, for this MRI in November, and the courage and energy to go after my dreams? I know I am making progress :) I just have to put in the effort and time to go all in this life with God, and in the plans HE has for me!! I will not give up ;)

Lots of love, J :)

Jasmine I\'m praying that the Lord will give you strength, courage and the energy needed to meet your goals. Don\'t give yourself an hard time, change is difficult for anyone and even more so if its a change in a routine, like getting up earlier in the morning, etc. Give yourself some adaption time and also learn to give yourself permission to feel overwhelmed and anxious. I also pray that the Lord will relax you while going through the MRI. I wasnt aware that it takes 90 mins to do an MRI, I\'ve never had one. You are very talented and keep telling yourself that and youre also very intelligent. Keep praying the Psalms 91 over yourself daily, it works. Love & Prayers, Glenda
